Let’s Change How We Age

If not now, when? This was the simple yet life-changing question that veteran arts administrators Maura O’Malley and Ed Friedman asked themselves in 2008 when they founded Lifetime Arts. Together, they were determined to transform the way we age by promoting the inclusion of arts learning programs in all organizations that serve older adults.

Fifteen years later, 600,000+ older adults across the country have benefited from 850 new creative aging programs in libraries, arts and cultural organizations, senior centers, and care systems across 42 states – and the demand continues to increase. These programs build social connections and profoundly enhance the quality of life for people ages 55 and better.

Join the growing movement to change how we age. By giving to Lifetime Arts, you help older adults of all backgrounds and abilities find new purpose, new friends, and lasting skills. You also help organizations and communities transform how they perceive older adults and become more age-friendly.
