Art making has been the focus of my life and I have worked continually and with determination and discipline on the growth and exploration of my creative process. As a teaching artist I bring to the students I work with an excitement to learn art skills that will challenge and excite them. I use art as a tool to enhance the process of learning. I believe the creative process develops self esteem, discipline and a broader understanding of life and utilizes critical thinking skills. In this process of learning new skills participants will be excited about their new found abilities and they will love what they are doing.
