Having worked as a Marketing Director for Jewish Home and Hospital I am familiar the needs of an older adult population. Activities such as theatre and creative writing can be "therapeutic" as well as fun, and engaging, while encouraging socialization. I can employ sociodrama and theatre therapy techniques while working with either an older adult population or intergenerational program. The arts help older adults continue to feel "connected," creative, energized and enables them to share their life experiences and feel a sense of worth.
