Mark Nowak is the owner/operator of Image Vision Studios. His passion for photography ignited in the second grade when his dad gave him a Brownie Hawkeye camera. 

Mark went on to take photos for his high school yearbook and flirt with photography in college. But he took a detour to work crafting in another art, in construction and then specifically in cabinetry, for 25 years. But the love that took flame in the second grade was never extinguished.

The twenty-first century brought a renewed life to Mark's passion and he began taking wedding photos, senior portraits, "most anything I can point my camera at." While Mark loves all branches of photography, his true love lies in the studio work.

In addition to being behind the camera, Mark also stands in front of the class. He shares his love of photography by teaching the art to others. Mark has taught in conjunction with organizations such as the Lorain County MetroParks, various libraries, Creative Aging, and Elyria Art Works. He also mentors photographers through the Erie Shores Photography Club, where he has been president since 2014 and is a Hall of Fame member.
