Julia Pistell is a writer, teacher, and coach. She has taught Creative Writing for the Mark Twain House & Museum (where she was the museum's first-ever Director of Writing Programs) and the New Haven Public Library. Julia is also the co-founder and owner of Sea Tea Improv, the state's most successful improv comedy company. Julia has taught thousands of hours of theater, public speaking, and communication skills. Favorite projects include teaching improv communication skills to Alzheimer's caregivers. She has also coached campaigns for the President of the Society of Actuaries and other professional organizations.

I believe that everyone deserves to tell their own story in the way they would like to tell it. My classroom environment is supportive and collaborative-- we're all here to learn together.
