Elizabeth McCullough has been a performing and teaching artist with Musical Chairs Chamber Ensemble since 2004. Under the auspices of MCCE, Elizabeth has directed the Roaring Chorus for seniors in NYPL sponsored workshops, having recently celebrated five years of classes and performances (2010-2015). She has taught private voice at Wagner College since 2002. A native of Mississippi, she received her B.M. and M.M. degrees from the University of Texas. Elizabeth has performed leading roles with National Opera Company, Duke Opera Festival, American Chamber Opera Company and Liederkranz Opera. She has presented numerous solo recitals in the New York City area, Elizabeth has performed internationally and with Cunard Cruises. A Staten Island resident since 1988, Elizabeth maintains a private voice studio and has also taught at William Patterson College, Brooklyn Conservatory of Music, Greenwich House Music School and the Music Institute of the Staten Island JCC. She is a member of New York Singing Teachers Association and president of The Saint Cecilia in Staten Island. Elizabeth is married to musician, Frank Santagata, and they have a son, Joseph.
My interest in people, their life experiences combined with the desire to express themselves through the art of singing, has enriched my years of vocal instruction especially in one-on-one and small group environments. I have twenty-six years of teaching experience and have worked with people of all ages in schools and community program settings and in private studio work.
FEES Instruction: $60 per hour
Planning & Preparation: $30 per hour
