Working for Lifetime Arts & New York Public Library Creative Aging Through the Arts program since its pilot program of October of 2010, has been one of the most rewarding and transformative experiences I have had as an artist, teacher and person. Teaching older adult students has completely altered the way I perceive aging. I now see that growing older can be a positive and creative experience that can build new active and engaged intergenerational communities. I hope to have the opportunity to work with Lifetime Arts & New York Public Library Creative Aging Through the Arts program again.
