Chosen as the “Best Argentine Tango Teacher in Westchester 2010” by the Westchester Magazine. In 1998 I began teaching privately and hosting my own milongas. At present I teaches at several venues throughout Westchester: I have performed in a number of venues such as The Elmwood Community Theater in Nyack, Stamford Public Library, Byron Public Library, The Pelham Woman’s Club, Mamaroneck Jewish Temple, and a variety of others.
Dancing is perhaps the best activity to combine three basic elements in human relationships: the pleasure of learning, exercise, and most importantly, social interaction. People who study dancing will often describe the activity as having totally changed their lives. The elderly often engage in activities such as card playing, gardening, theater, and tennis. However, when they take up dancing, they enter a world they never knew existed. Teaching dance is not only my great joy but I impart that joy to my students. My classes are structured, creative, and fun for all, regardless of their ability.
