Bernie D’Ettorre 3202 West 162nd St Cleveland, Ohio 44111 (216) 941-7979 firstname.lastname@example.org Florals, still lifes and landscapes in oil and watercolor have been the subjects of my paintings for years. Whether the painting’s subject is a juicy assortment of fruits, a floral up close and personal, or a landscape, the viewer is invited to enjoy the slice of a moment in time. Become part of a story you see before you. While taking major classes in science, art classes were scheduled as well, intensified in workshop situations after graduation. The greatest influences came from Diane Boldman, Cathy Welner, Bob Moyer as well as Tom Lynch and other Ohio Watercolor Society workshops. I have participated in one woman shows as well as juried events, winning Best of Show -Lakewood Art League-two consecutive years as well as other awards throughout the area. I am a signature member of the Ohio Watercolor Society and my work is currently on display at Sparrow Art Gallery and Studio in Lodi, Ohio. Works have been featured in the Blue Moon Gallery in Chagrin Falls, Mosaic Gallery in Cleveland, and Local Girl Gallery in Lakewood, as well as corporate centers, and private collections in Ohio, California, and England.
Fostering socialization skills through the visual arts provides, in community settings, stabilization for its older members for as long as they are able to attend. Members have remained in art programs for many years not only learning but displaying and selling their achievements in two dimensional art forms. The camaraderie created has been spread, maintained, and enhanced through art.
