We ♥ Our Teaching Artists!

The third week in May is National Teaching Artists Appreciation Week! Established in 2012 by the Association of Teaching Artists, this is an opportunity to thank and recognize teaching artists across the United States who improve the lives of their students through professional arts instruction.

Since its founding five years ago, Lifetime Arts has been privileged to work with so many talented teaching artists whose teaching has impacted the lives of thousands of older adults and their communities over the course of nearly 1,000 workshop sessions.

Below is a listing of all of the teaching artists who have taught Lifetime Arts workshops for older adults in public libraries, and above is a slideshow showing a few of them in action.

We thank you, and all of your students thank you. Across the board, your students are always impressed with not only your artistic ability, but with your preparedness, your ability to foster an environment conducive to learning, creativity, and social engagement. So are we.

Thank You to Lifetime Arts’ Teaching Artists:
