The Next Step in Creative Aging Programming
Beginning in 2016, as the Creative Aging in America’s Libraries project winds down, Lifetime Arts Affiliate Network will transition to a subscription based service in order to continue to help strengthen public libraries as centers for positive and creative aging. Network Membership will be made available to State Libraries as well as regional and local library systems and will include access to Lifetime Arts’ proven training programs; proprietary curricula and support materials; customized technical assistance as well as a range of strategic planning services.
To learn more about the Affiliate Network and how you can get involved, sign up for our mailing list or contact Lifetime Arts at 914-355-2304 or email@example.com.
The Affiliate Network is currently comprised of 67 individual libraries, in 20 library systems, across 12 states. As participating members of the Affiliate Network, these libraries and library systems have received extensive training, professional development, tools and resources, and access to Lifetime Arts’ expert technical assistance to implement Creative Aging programs.
By the end of the 2016, the inaugural Affiliate Network members will have implemented over 70 creative aging programs across the country. Developed to be responsive to each unique community, these Creative Aging programs are teaching art making skills to older adults in all the arts disciplines (Literary, Performing, and Visual Arts) using Lifetime Art’ proven model.
